Rwanda Producer Inflation Eases to 9-Month Low
Producer prices in Rwanda increased by 13.4% year-on-year in March 2024, following a 13.9% gain in February.
It marked the softest pace in producer prices since last June, due to a slowdown in manufacturing growth (13.2% vs 13.7% in February), namely food products and beverages.
Meanwhile, mining and quarrying climbed by 0.2%.
Monthly, producer prices fell by 0.4% in March, after a 4.4% drop in the previous month.
